I love the True Blood books and the tv show is entertaining, if a bit smutty at times. Definitely the best of the current Vamp crop. But the blood-suckers of Bon Temps just don’t do it for me. Sam the shape shifter is just so much better looking and likable (like-able?) in my opinion.
My tastes seem to be leaning towards the hairy, which is a little odd so I’m trying to think of an example where I like the Vampire better than the Werewolf. Only one I can come up with is Underworld 1 and 2. Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is just flat out gorgeous, Micheal (Scott Speedman) is certainly nothing to sneeze at but he’s just not as attractive in my opinion. Then Underworld: Rise of the Lycans comes along and I revert back to the pattern, Lucian (Micheal Sheen) is just amazing.
I want my Vampires “Lost Boys” style not Abercrombie and Fitch.

Stan Lee is adorable.
What the hell was with the camera work? At times it was hilarious, like when it showed Justin Longs unhappiness with not winning an award. Other times it was just frustrating, being a million miles away from Karl Urban and John Cho, the weird angle with Eli Roth and Jaime King. Just annoying.
Zombie piano players are pure win.
Jennifer Carpenter is gorgeous, had no idea that was her in [Rec].
Megan Fox is an overrated, ungrateful bitch. If she actually has a career 2 years from now I’ll be amazed.
The fact that Supernatural was virtually ignored is fucking ridiculous. It is the best horror/sci fi/fantasy show on television.
Bruce Campbell was robbed.
